Doxa Unveils Project Aware

Swiss watchmaker Doxa has released a special, limited edition version of its iconic orange dive watch. A portion of every purchase of the Project Aware Doxa Sub will be directed to activities benefiting Project Aware's conservation efforts, including coral reef conservation, shark education, marine protection, underwater cleanups, and environmental training for divers. 

Project AWARE Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit environmental organization working in partnership with divers and water enthusiasts to conserve underwater environments.

Piaget Nabs Prestigious Swiss Watch Honor

The watch magazine Montres Passion has awarded its 2008 Watch of the Year to Piaget's Altiplano, eccentric small seconds (pictured below). The prestigious honor was presented to Philippe Léopold-Metzger, Piaget’s CEO, at a recent ceremony in Geneva, Switzerland.

IWC's Da Vinci Vintage Automatic won second place.
